A PRACTICAL WORKFLOW
Four steps from model to clear shadow study.
Revit can show cast shadows, but a planning or design review often needs more than a grey result. Shadow Colour gives the shadow study a focused visual language so the drawing is easier to understand and present.
- 01
Open Shadow Colour in Revit
Install the approved TURNER+ Shadow Colour release, open a Revit 2025 project and start Shadow Colour from the TURNER+ ribbon.
- 02
Choose the study content
Prepare the model and shadow view you want to communicate, then identify the project and context geometry used in the study.
- 03
Set the shadow colours
Choose a clear palette and preview the shadow colours live in the Revit workflow while you refine the study.
- 04
Prepare the output
Export presentation-ready PNG imagery or prepare the formal result for a Revit sheet.
